Services - Projection Mapping

Projection mapping has become the buzz word in creative projection in recent years with videos popping up on youtube almost daily of buildings being transformed by projection footage. This is only one application for the technique and because of our TV background we are often called in to projection map all sorts of objects from the human body to cars!

In it's most basic guise, projection mapping is just projecting artwork or footage accurately onto an object, visually turning it into a dynamic video display. As long as the content is created to the correct dimensions to achieve a good fit when projected this can be done with nothing more than a laptop and a well positioned projector. More ambitious projects however, require a lot more thought not to mention more sophisticated tools such as image warping and blending facilities (built into high-end projectors) and a various degree of image processing to deliver truly impressive results.
